Ebon the Knight/Magician

1. Buy a horse and wagon as soon as possible. Traveling around in town is very time consuming, a horse will get you from place to place much faster and a wagon is very useful for storing all the goods that you can't carry.

Buy a horse and wagon as soon as possible!

2. Don't try to carry large sums of gold, the weight will make it difficult or impossible to pick up other useful items. Go to the bank, deposit the gold and get a letter of credit for however much money you will need to purchase items. Be sure to keep enough in gold to pay for your stays at the inns, there you must use gold.

3. If you decide to use a character editor to boost your character's skills and attributes, don't boost your attributes to the maximum or you won't advance in levels. When any of your attributes reach the 100 mark, you will stop advancing. Also, boosting your skills, attributes or reputation will cause you to advance in rank and standing very quickly and you may receive quests before you are ready for them, in other words you may not have completed a part of the game necessary for that particular quest and your game cannot be completed. If you must use a character editor, boost your character's skills, attributes, and reputation SLOWLY a little at a time. Giving your character more gold does not seem to affect the game play, but unless you are near a bank where you can deposit large sums of gold, it may cause your character to be unable to pick up items.

I beg your pardon, but can you tell me......

4. When asking townspeople for directions, if they tell you that the person, house, or business you're looking for is in a certain direction, then keep asking them the same question and they'll mark it on the map for you.
